at first i wanted to do photography based on my dads early experiences but i couldnt get the right conditions for my photography, so last minute change i had to make a stop motion of a fishing scene and some photgraphy as well

Minor Design Projects

l narrative:

A: Week one: Interview, record, gather research.

Week one is the most challenging aspect of this project. Capture footage/sound recordings

of a story teller. Be it from a five year old, a thirty five year old or a ninety five year old. The

content is up to you. All the brief asks is that you challenge your subject to reveal their

ultimate story. The topic of the interview is ‘early memory’.

Add an edited version interview to your blog along with relevant exploration into your chosen

design pathway. (Editorial design, animation/moving image/ kinetic type or film)

B: Week two and three: implement design development and conclusions.

Editorial Design/photography:

2 page A4 (A3 spread), Using Helvetica, CMYK, 300dpi.

1 X display board (template available on blog www.mrlynch.com)

Include: Typographic/editorial research, design layout development (min 10 design sheets),

variety of experimental conclusions.

Moving Image/Animation/Kinetic type:

1–3 min short, URL link to youtube/vimeo content.

Include: Storyboarding (min 10 – begin to develop your own style of storyboarding),

Presentation:

End of pro:three

3 minute presentation on Mon Nov 22nd – Room MQ202.

Groups as before. Presentations will not include research this time, design development and solutions only.
